FUNDY-ST. MARTINS, NB – The Fundy Sea Shanty Festival returns to the shores of Fundy-St. Martins, coming up Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9. This year, the crew will be celebrating five years of maritime music, storytelling, and community along the Bay of Fundy.

This year's festival features waterfront performances from artists across Canada and beyond, including Heather Rankin, Les Gabiers d'Aquilon, Bytown Sea Shanty Collective, Cap'n Spoonbill & The Hoiho, Sarah Segal-Lazar & the Butcher Hearts, Dram & A Draw, Yarmouth Shantymen, Chris Ricketts, Melanie Ross, Before the Mast, and the world premiere of Come All Ye... and dance.

Visitors can also enjoy:

  • 30+ free pop-up performances at local businesses and venues throughout the village

  • Over a dozen maritime-themed workshops, presentations, tastings, and special events

  • The Harbour Bazaar, featuring local artisans, makers, food vendors, and free admission

"Reaching our fifth festival is an exciting milestone," said Gary Caines, Artistic Director. "It's a celebration of our maritime heritage, our community, and the incredible volunteers, performers, sponsors, and visitors who have helped the festival grow over the past five years. We can't wait to welcome everyone to Fundy-St. Martins."

Organizers would also like to reassure visitors that the recently publicized Hardscrabble Covered Bridge closure is adjacent to the festival grounds, but does not affect access to the festival. All events will proceed as scheduled. Festival passes, performer bios, schedules, and visitor information are available at www.fundyseashantyfest.com
