2023 Fundy Sea Shanty Fest

The St. Martins Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Port Saint John and Envision Saint John, proudly  present the 2023 International Fundy Sea Shanty Festival, the only one of its kind in Atlantic Canada.

Sea shanties are traditional tunes that were sung by sailors during work aboard ships and each song has a particular rhythm to match the task at hand. Anchored in the charming fishing village of St. Martins, New Brunswick, this event is a celebration of the sailors who helped shape nations during the age of sail. With a thrilling lineup of music, food, and entertainment, this event is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of the maritime region.
