Fundy Sea Shanty Festival Wins “Small Event of the Year” at Event Atlantic Awards

We’re thrilled to share that the Fundy Sea Shanty Festival has been named Small Event of the Year at the 2025 Event Atlantic Awards!

This recognition highlights the unique programming, community spirit, and growing impact of our festival, which has quickly become a must-experience celebration of maritime music and culture.

At the ceremony, our Festival Volunteer Coordinator, Deb Withers, proudly accepted the award from Event Atlantic Executive Director Shyra Wells, with support from our friends and partners, including Lindsay Smith of Envision Saint John.

We couldn’t have achieved this without the incredible efforts of our performers, sponsors, volunteers, and community. This award belongs to all of you who help keep the shanty spirit alive in Fundy-St. Martins.
